Thanks GoHox. I’ve been in Ecuador since the 9th, beginning the 3,000 mile journey back to Iowa today. I need periodic reminders that it’s Christmas time because it’s super beautiful here and I’m used to winter around this time.
To anyone that has never been, I recommend the Puyo area. If you don’t drive NASCAR or speak Spanish I recommend bringing someone or knowing someone here that does.
And get a VPN so you can check HB!

Agreed…although I think the answer to his question/comment about why in America many only celebrate Christmas is likely due to most people only really knowing/recognizing the Christian faith & related customs.

Wishing everyone a very MERRY CHRISTMAS and a wonderful family time.
My son and my grandkids are ill with the flu so they’re in “quarantine”. Tamiflu and quiet rest and Grandma is just forced to settle with doing a front porch drop off of gifts. 😢
They’re getting on a plane Friday to head north to Western Minnesota for a visit with my DIL’s family and his in-laws.
I had a houseful of relatives over last night for Christmas Eve dinner and then to Mass where my grand nephew was a server.
I resolve in 2025 I’ll try to be nice to everyone on HBOT. Even those of you who are not nice to me. You know who you are…💁‍♀️🎄☃️❄️🩷
