It is relevant to counter the false narrative being pushed that illegals are hauling the drugs across. I thought you were a stickler for accuracy? Stem the desire, stem the profitability and the traffic slows down.

It wouldn't be processed by the cartels if there wasn't a demand. We Americans like to blames others for our own problems.

Ah, I see. The users are the real problem. The cartels are just workin’ folk, trying to supply a need. And if they have to decapitate a few rivals and execute some police and politicians in order to continue filling that need then so be it.

If an American thinks he’s buying a certain type of pill, only to become one of the tens of thousands who die every year because it was deliberately mislabeled and laced with fentanyl that he didn’t know was in it, well that’s his own damn fault for not being more diligent about verifying his source.

Caveat emptor and all that. Right?

This is the entire premise of most of the modern day Republican party. The only exception to this are the much smaller group of really rich people who like to use this to their own advantage.

Yes. The users are the real problem. Nancy Reagan's war on drugs was so successful. If you are buying illegal drugs you should know it comes with a risk. The cartels would not exist to this extend without the demand of the American people. Whether that is for drugs or cheap labor. You just seem like one of those Americans that need to find someone else to blame for their own problems.
