What is up with the head wrap?
Ok - so he looks tentative - not being the aggressor against anyone. Dude seems to be the defensive guy hoping to make counter attacks (but not really gets points that way as often). Yeah - as the underdog / backup guy last season, everyone wanted to kick his ass and walk off with majors and plenty of back points. But - being ranked top 6 (or whatever - who cares) - does he really have it to pound out a victory.

How so? I think you confuse having hard negative takes on the staff.and certain wrestlers abilities as with being the same as completely attacking another poster.

Example. Logan Ryan. My point was didn't really.want him allowed back on team because I didn't ever think he would be a starter type so cut ties.now.and let.him go to a Wartburg type place and or something. Or what he heck did brands ever bring Cooper in for?

In would say its ok if you don't agree or post that I think your wrong because of whatever factor you see.

But I don't think it's on to say your a DB or use a one liner like. Did your parents have anyone who lived you stupid f,,,k!

Do you see the difference? Or do you think the takes on Ryan or the coaching staff is out of line when some says this kid just isn't that.good. he a plodder?

I don't think you make any solid points and frankly make little sense. Are you saying Brands shouldn't recruit the Logan Ryan, Cooper, etc types?
There have been other guys on here who've taken hard views with this staff and some of the wrestlers. Tarphawk for example. He at least backs his opinion up with some data and reasonable thoughts, and it's pretty easy to respect his view. You're kind of all over the place and come across as someone with an agenda. I don't recall you being this way until this past year.

Is it impossible for you to see the value in an athletes contributions to a team even if he isn't a starter?? It seems that if it were up to you we'd only have 10 top 10 recruits on the roster each year and only re-recruit every 4-5 years.

Some of us actually go to practices, meets, and donate to the club. I don't appreciate weasels like you that pretend to be a fan while constantly bashing the coaches and wrestlers. Go root for Penn State or the Clowns. Things aren't all rosy since we haven't won titles lately but you are worse than a 12 year old girl.

Well...I am sitting here scouring the Parisi Open on track wrestling, while switching video screens on Flo to try and identify our freshman wrestling in the the fresh/soph championship...but no, not a groupie

Ok guys just settle down a bit. I myself have spent plenty of time in the room. I am friends with 2 of the coaches but just can't afford to donate to the club. Wish I could but right now my kids are sucking me dry so to speak.

I myself do have a few concerns about Meyer. To me it seems like he needs something bad to happen before we see his best stuff. It's early in the year and he is actually the starter now. It might take him a little time but I have a TON of faith in Alex and the staff!!!

This sport is extremely difficult to follow. It has gotten much better, but it's still a strange juggling show. There is only a limited amount of coverage that isn't team specific and generated by the various school's media departments.

Listening to Grace and Ironside online and hoping their cellphone remains charged during a broadcast is what it often boils down to.

I saw that on twitter. That would surprise me as these types of issues are usually the "fault" of the school running the tournament. I recall the difficulty I had going back and forth between both gyms at the Luther Open a couple years ago. I was using track the best I could to follow the action even though I was there in person. It's not often that a "small" tournament has the scoreboard function in operation. It could be possible that Flo was promised a higher level of performance since they were covering the event with video.
