Interesting to hear that MSNBC's Melissa Harris-Perry has announced that she is boycotting her own show this week. She has felt diminished because her show has been pre-empted numerous times recently for live events, and political coverage. She did not say it directly, but implied there may be racial motivations for the frequent interruptions to her show.
For the record, even I can't stand her. Far too radical and I've never figured out why someone with such a pronounced lisp has a TV show. MSNBC just trotted out Joy Ann Reid like nothing happened.

While I don't agree with her actions or a lot of her opinions it is very clear that msnbc is moving at break neck speed to the right. Probably good business decision.

As mentioned, I don't watch her show. Her idea of diversity on her guest panel is one self loathing, race baiting, man hater after another. And, I am not a fan of big gals with nose rings, but that's on me.

We don't agree often......I've watched her show a few times. You're pretty spot on.

For me she's in the same league as Rachel Maddow. I watch them now and then to see if I can understand from where they come. It usually takes less than 15 minutes until I get a little vomit in mouth and am forced to leave the room.
