Can you blame him? not to nick pick but didnt they give a million bucks to that player from Kansas State a few years back?
College sports are dying. NIL will be the ruin of it all.
I watch ISU football, and really no one else. CFP? Won't watch.
Same goes for basketball. I will watch ISU, but really nothing more. College coaches have to make a deal with the devil in order to be successful. NIL + transfer is a must. If you aren't willing (or able) to pay players, then you will get passed. As much as I like TJ + ISU bball, I know their recent resurgence in largely due to NIL + use of the portal.
Its becoming more difficult to really get behind the team + players like zi used to.

His final 4 team was also entire team of transfers. So boo hoo. He’s 75 years old. I don’t think he’s stepping down on his own in the middle of the season. He’s had a nice career but he’s hung on to long like so many. And he’s also made a shit ton of money.
It still requires a coach who can put a proper team and balance together. ISU coach has done it and sadly Fran cannot. Other than a slightly easier entrance process ISU has nothing over Iowa other than a better coach!
Iowa harder? Thats histerical. Iowa gers a lot of students from IL due to location. Otherwise Iowa IS NOT difficult to get in.reallt low by Big standards. Maybe not Nebby low but low.
