Michael Morgan posted on his facebook page that Michael Reaves has passed away. Morgan and Reaves were roommates while at Iowa. No idea on the cause of death.
Reaves was a really solid player. One of the legends around the first year under Dr. Tom was that Reaves might have been a starter ahead of B.J. Armstrong, but he got hurt before the season. Armstrong played great out of the gate and never gave up the job. Don't know how much truth there is to it, but it's interesting.
