They tend to go through these stretches early on in the season and then by the time they get to B1G, they’ve figured it out.
Not MSU, but Calipari & Kentucky dropped to 1-3 on the season, losing by 17 to (then) 0-2 GA Tech.

I predict they'll drop to #27 in the AP, #25 in the Coaches. Should be #57 in both, but the pollsters - especially Coaches assistants, etc - love them some Kentucky.

I'm not going to hold my breath, because we've seen this before out of MSU. They start slow and then gradually improve. If, in fact, they are having a down year, presumably we'll have two chances to prove it this season.
