Michigan vs Texas Tech

Good D is one thing, combine it with poor offense and you have a team scoring historical low in 1st half. Simpson has been just awful. Michigan looked practically unbeatable until a February but since the Iowa defeat they’ve been very beatable.

Michigan has to drive and stop turning the ball over. It's funny how polar opposite the Texas Tech football and basketball squads are.

Tech playing tough D but several really dumb and unforced TOs and terrible shooting will do that to you, Michigan. Have they made a shot beyond about 7 feet so far? They have had some open looks and are shooting 7 for 25!

Out of the 67 teams who are going to lose in this tournament, Michigan has a chance to be the most memorable. If this was Iowa, I'd run into the woods screaming.

You gotta figure Michigan has at least one run in them. Better not wait too much longer.
At this rate, they'll have to put more points on the board in the final 10 minutes than they did in the first 30, while holding Tech to single digits.

It's amazing how good teams can look like garbage and garbage teams can look awesome on a given night.

I'm not saying tech is a garbage team

Kind of interesting that on the same night Tennessee lost in similar fashion to the way they beat us and Michigan is losing similar to our last game to them with a horrible shooting night for 3.

Big 12 champs dismantling one of the Big 10's best teams. lolz.

When there is such a lopsided game at this point of the tournament, you have to figure it was a fluky game and isn't a indication of anything significant within the larger picture. I think you're reading more into this than it's worth. It's just one game.

But you know that, right?

This is entirely true, but can you imagine the narrative in regards to the Big 12 here if the score had been reversed? In one game situations, anything can happen. Tech is three games removed from losing to West Virginia.

Can't wait until next November when Iowa gets a crack at Texas Tech in the Continental Tire Las Vegas Invitational. Will Iowa score more then 44 points?
