Not sure where Iowa can generate any offense against them.

Iowa may get shutout unless they score on defense of special teams. I could see Michigan scoring 50+pts especially given what NW just did. Might get ugly quickly with how poor our offense and defense are playing....
We do?? I just did a little check and we'd have to beat Michigan in our next 27 meetings to even up the score.. No better time to start it off than Nov 12th

We may keep it close against Wisconsin and even sneak away with a win if we get a lot of bounces. I don't see anyway they keep it close with Michigan.

You're right on there bingo. Wisky actually takes the leashes off them and just let's them play free and be playmakers.
You still have to have talent though. We are in the core of the amazing 2 and 3 star recruiting classes that was one of the reasons Kirk was in such hot water. While individual stars don't matter, overall stars in a recruiting class do. We are playing a lot like a division 1 program with a bunch of two and three star recruits starting in most of the positions.
All I can say is, assuming they can hold onto the guys that have already committed this year, Iowa will be better in the future. A 10+ win team and probably make another run at pissing all the playoff prognosticators off (after all, they only think a playoff birth should be allowed for programs that have won 10+ games for 3 years in a row or more). We're just going to have to wait about 4 years for it.
It's funny how that works. Instead of sitting back and getting the ball rammed down your throat, you let your players try to make plays. You're not going to convince me that we'll get burned any more playing an aggressive style of defense more than we do right now
I agree somewhat but in the past Iowa's grear years basically came from 2 back to back good recruiting classes. Iowa needs to hold this one together now which won't be easy and then bring in another solid to grear one by Iowa standards next year which seems unlikely. I don't think Iowa will get as lucky again like last year schedule wise and have both Wisky and Nebby in rebuilding mode.
True. Although last year's recruiting class wasn't bad, if I recall correctly. I could be wrong though but it seems a lot of them are pretty high on the depth chart. Then again, seeing how they are playing this year that probably speaks more to the quality of players on the previous recruiting classes than the ones in the freshmen class.

We will be blown out of the water. Michigan has probably the best DL in college football. We gave up 6 sacks to Northwestern, I'm terrified of how many there will be in that game.
Does ABC have the option to flex a different game into their 7p national slot? Can't imagine advertisers will be happy with a poor Iowa team limping into this one. Lotta TV sets gonna be flipping channels when it's something like 17-0 after the 1st quarter.
