Midwest strip clubs - is that a real thing?

Been over 30 years but I saw the hottest girl ever at a Hiawatha strip club. She was young and had the biggest natural firmest rack ever. She was embarrassed because she couldn’t dance but nobody cared. I think she was also a beer cart girl at St Andrews golf course.

that being said, nobody with kids should go into a strip club. You instantly become “that guy”. If you break that rule you definitely need to stop when your kids are closer to the strippers age than you are.

Went to Book em Danos in Denison a few years back. Would not recommend.

I have fond memories of Chills 'N Thrills in downtown Ottumwa. Those girls gave it all they got on stage.

I was up on sniffer's row one time and right before one girl smashed her vag into my face she was kind enough to warn me, "don't breathe in."

RIP in peace.

I’m betting I’m not the only Quad Cities HROTer who remembers Teace the Tease from So-Co in the early 90s.

That's the only girl I remember from many many trips down there. She was the best!

I haven't been there in over 20 years but last I knew they had immortalized her with a painting on the wall by the main stage.

I don't know who Teace the Tease was, but I do remember a few unfortunate evenings at So-Co from the mid-90's.
Actually I just realized I misspelled her name. It was Tece the Tease and she was legendary there.

As I recall, the owner of SoCo used to think outside the box (pun intended) to skirt local ordinances. He wasn’t allowed to sell alcohol if the dancers were fully nude. So he opened a second club next door where the girls wore g-strings. I think it was called Nashville or something like that. Customers could buy beer there and then take it with them over to SoCo. But imo the g-string club had better looking dancers anyway because the hot girls preferred not to have to get nude.

Then a few years later when the city continued trying to shut him down with ordinances aimed at sexually oriented businesses, he renamed it The Southern Comfort Theater for the Performing Arts and they gave customers a pencil and sketch pad as they entered.

Club Shakers was a real thing in Lamotte, IA. BYOB. We use to roll busch lights across the stage to each other
Then they renovated and upped the price scales. Boo. Never went back again.
Been wondering for years now.
Baja Beach Club in W. Des Moines was smokin' back in the day. Prettiest woman I ever saw was on stage there.
Sat down with some friends and within 10 minutes one of the 'employee's asked me if wanted a hand-job out in the parking lot in 30 minutes. Caught me off-guard. It was early in the evening. I passed.

You are correct. Teace should have changed her name to Tease. She could do wonders with an empty beer can or your eye glasses. She was the queen of the main stage. Always wanted a private dance with her, but regulars told me skip it because she mainly just whispered dirty talk in your ear and didn't get very physical.

Spent some time with a dancer name Jamie down at SoCo. Skinny, nice rack and wore horned rim glasses.

I won't go to a strip club again until Covid is officially defeated, which may be never. No loss. More money to spent at the casinos.

I remember we were on a bachelor party bus like 10 years ago and ended up at the strip club on welcome way.. super ghetto. Shootings and stabbings there all the time. Why we went there and not Dukes, I will never know. The girls were sooooooo nasty. The DJ goes "I HEAR WE HAVE A BACHELOR IN THE HOOOOUSE" and my buddy the bachelor turns to him and just goes "No you dont". That place was something else

Anyone remember the Body Shop? Holy hell.. bullet wound wednesday and c-section sundays had to have been a thing.

The Chorus Line.

Total gangbanger hangout and aggressively ugly fat dancers.

Mason City had the outer edge. I think if you added up the teeth from all the dancers you might get a full set...

This is probably a Hail Mary, but back in the very early 1980s a friend and I were driving around drinking a few beers late one night and we ran across a strip club just outside of Des Moines on NW 6th Drive, essentially straight south of Saylorville a few miles. I believe it was called BJ's Hitching Post. It became our regular dive hangout for a few years. The building it was in looked 100 years old, but damn did we have some fun with the dancers and the motorcycle club types that frequented that place.

Was this all just a series of spectacular wet dreams I've convinced myself were real events or does anyone else from HROT recall this place existing? Yeah I'm old...

I remember one time at a club a got a dance with this chick. Her chest & torso area smelled like crotch, not in the good way. She was just on stage and must have slimed herself sliding down the poll. That's why the smart ones always wash the pole before hand.

I've been to a strip club just once in my life, shortly after I turned 18. Nice "environment" but I'm ok with not going to another.

They're completely overrated and should probably best be avoided once you reach your mid-twenties in age. I went to one in Northfield, Minnesota one time with my FIL and his brothers. Boy was that awkward.
