On a sidenote, the pilot landed the thing on a trailer attached to the back of a pickup truck in a field. The trailer was not much bigger at all than the basket of the balloon, and they only had to slide that thing over maybe a foot. The accuracy and precision in landing a hot air balloon blew my mind.

When I lived in CR my backyard connected to a park that was generally used for baseball and soccer practices. A few times a year a hot air balloon would land in that area. I stood on my deck once to watch one land, and they overshot it by....quite a bit. The pilot ended up having to get it back up in the air, and they came pretty damn close (I'd guess around 20ish feet or so) of clipping the top of someone's house. There was a minute or two there that I thought I was going to be seeing a pretty rough landing/csb

Hoping the mile high pilots are a little better.
When I lived in Marion I watched one land in my neighbors back yard. Guessing they were having some sort of problems.
Although it was impressive considering it was a tiny backyard with houses on all sides.
