I would not have minded another challenger. Bohannan would make a fine rep, but she's too GD nice as a campaigner. I see her every now and again at my Hy-Vee here on the Eastside, which makes her a much better candidate than MMM, who doesn't bother to live in the 1st District. The next time I see her I'll ask her to bring that up repeatedly.
MMM won by under 1000 votes once, and won by 6 votes once. The Big Beautiful Bill, and corn holing the residents of this district make MMM very, very vulnerable in 2026
