UPDATE:

As of 7 pm April 15, Minneapolis/St Paul had gotten 15 inches snow.

ORIGINAL POST:

This terrible weather that's hung around so far this spring has affected college and MLB baseball big time

The MSP (Minneapolis/St Paul) International airport was shut down yesterday for 5 hours.

Four of the first 10 Twins' home games have been postponed due to wintry weather. The four games:

* The games this Fri, Sat and Sun--marks the first time in the 9-year history of Target Field that 3 straight games have been called off.

* Last Sunday's game vs Seattle.

The Twin Cities area was under a blizzard warning until 7 a.m. today with forecasters calling for more than a foot of snow in some locations. In addition, temperatures in the 20s and high winds remain in the forecast for Sunday.

Even a joke by @funnyfletcher would not cheer me up!
