I hate to go back to this, but the B1G should be ashamed of themselves. That one call very well could cost this team the NCAA tournament. Just this one game, that one call. It's disgusting, but nothing to be said because it's a "judgment" call.

It's pretty clear some of you just need something to complain about. This teams tournament future is and was very much in their own hands.
And if they don't make it I've really enjoyed watching them grow and they'll be one of the toughest outs in the NIT. That can still be a great experience for a young team.

So are you saying that, had we won the Minny game and then lost all remaining games, we would make the tourney?
Yes it is. I said no one call or one game determines a tourney berth or not. You said that was false, which would mean one call or game would determine the berth.
One call and one game determines NCAA berths for numerous teams EVERY year. I know what your TRYING to say it's it's just plain silly.
It just make me grind my teeth when I they say Minny has won 8 straight games. They did, of course, but they almost didn't.
Good god man, which guy are, Ted Valentine or Terry Wimmer? Your defense of referees in any thread where a call is challenged perplexes me.
If you really believe what you said, you need to re-watch the Iowa vs Michigan State tourney game from 2013. EXACT SAME situation as this year. Likely needed to win 2 games to make it on a mostly freshmen team with a similar record and RPI. They beat Northwestern in the first round, and then faced MSU. They led almost the entire game. Got hosed a lot early, but get hammered on later.
If you watch that, and can seriously tell me those calls didn't cost the game, which in turn cost them their tournament bid, then I don't know what to tell you, because it is and was obvious to everybody else. TV Teddy has never done a regular season Iowa game since (though he did an exhibition). But that must be coincidence.....
