Claeys will coach his 1st game as HC this weekend but he was in charge the past two and half weeks.

Looking at the box scores for the last two games (as interim head coach), it looks like Claeys might favor the passing game more than ex-coach Kill. Or it could be that the games dictated more passing IDK. Jerry Kill, of course, was a strong proponent of a power running game. I'm wondering if they have scaled back the read-option.

Hard to tell if there are any changed tendencies on defense. Secondary appears to be pretty stout even though they lost their starting CB to injury earlier this week.

Anyone here who follows Minnesota notice any changes under Claeys?

They pass because they can't rush. When you can't rush you can't get into the end zone. Yes, they'll pass between the 20's and kick field goals. Pretty hard to win with that going for you. 0-3 after tomorrow.

Its kind of odd because Jerry Kill spent 4 years building a power running team and now they counting on Mitch Leidner to pass 30 times per game.

Not being a d-bag, but Claeys has "filled in" as the HC for Kill at a couple of their stops together..Including recently when he filled in and went 4-3. Don't know the stats from those games to see if they passed the ball more than ususal or not. ....
