Poor joke!
I'd take all the listed guys with a grain of salt. Those guys are going to want to play in the game - no matter what. If they're medically cleared - then I'd anticipate that they'd play. It all depends on how dinged they are. If I recall correctly, Brooks still played at the end of the game against OSU. Also, Rodney Smith's ankle issue may be no worse than Akrum Wadley's ankle. Also starting RBs.... wow.
Claeys said he's not sure which, if any, players will be back from their injuries for the Iowa game. He noted on WCCO (830-AM), that wide receiver Eric Carter is going through the concussion protocol. Claeys also said he's not sure if running backs Shannon Brooks (shoulder) and Rodney Smith (ankle) will be ready to return next week.

Don't get me wrong, I don't think that the Gopher coaches would let any player play if they could go - but I wouldn't be surprised if some gamesmanship was going on with regard to personnel.
Show some class, Jerry Kill is not a poor joke! He is an excellent coach who has medical issues. I hear he is a class act too. Jeepers the guy is barely retired and you call him a poor joke?Poor joke!

Ace Rogers will definitely want to play in his old hometown. No doubt playing with a chip on his shoulder.
