Minnesota Injury situation?

Any info on key injuries on the Gopher side?

One of their starting CBs is still in the hospital in colombus so I assume he is out this week. I think they might have a running back or two injured.

The QB Leidner was on the receiving end of a targeting call that was overturned - he played the entire game I believe - wasn't he dinged up for a few games?

He noted on WCCO (830-AM), that wide receiver Eric Carter is going through the concussion protocol. Claeys also said he's not sure if running backs Shannon Brooks (shoulder) and Rodney Smith (ankle) will be ready to return next week.

He noted on WCCO (830-AM), that wide receiver Eric Carter is going through the concussion protocol. Claeys also said he's not sure if running backs Shannon Brooks (shoulder) and Rodney Smith (ankle) will be ready to return next week.

I'd take all the listed guys with a grain of salt. Those guys are going to want to play in the game - no matter what. If they're medically cleared - then I'd anticipate that they'd play. It all depends on how dinged they are. If I recall correctly, Brooks still played at the end of the game against OSU. Also, Rodney Smith's ankle issue may be no worse than Akrum Wadley's ankle.

Don't get me wrong, I don't think that the Gopher coaches would let any player play if they could go - but I wouldn't be surprised if some gamesmanship was going on with regard to personnel.

Read again the comment was reply to statement the coach out for season. That is the post thAt was a bit tasteless
On second though maybe that is post you were referring but the whole thing didn't copy. If so then I will agree with you
