CJ running for 1st downs. We watched CJ gut out his injury the 2nd half of the season and extend drives with his feet. Only ran it once that I can remember. It was a huge factor all season for keeping drives alive. Not sure why but he didn't look like his injury was bothering him. Probably due to what sparty was doing but just seems like an important missing element.
On a sidenote, I've heard a lot of talk this morning about sparty's epic drive. How impressive it was that they went 22 plays without mistakes and penalties. While it was impressive, there were multiple plays that flags weren't thrown. The missed chop block on 4th and 2 being the biggest one. 4th and 17 from the 20 looks quite different.
Anyway, it was an epic battle between 2 very good teams. We just came up a little short. Love these Hawkeyes and hope we get the Rose Bowl!!!
