Dance wins by Dec over backup 125 for Mizzou.

Eierman wins by fall at 133. Unsure of who the losing wrestlers were in the first two bouts, forgot the names.

Synon wins @ 141 for mizzou, wins 2-0 over Gustafson. Rode him out the entire 2nd period, and got an escape. Neither was close to a TD on the feet.

Mizzou leading VT 9-3 after 141.

*Unrelated to the dual meet, but Gulibon lost to Kyle Springer of EMU 8-5 today.

Over at the Keystone, Suriano into the finals with another yawn 4-2 win by two points with a guy I never heard of. Cortez goes down in the Semis by Devoy from Drexel. Guilbon went down in quarters I believe. Their first three not signing the offensive blood oath demanded by Cael.

Lewis just murdering this poor VT wrestler on bottom. up 12-0 with under a minute to go and over 5 mins of riding time.

wins 13-0. Mizzou up 20-3 after the first 6 matches.

That's bc Kyle is a tough Davenport Iowa Assumption boy!

Miklus and Zavatsky got into a weird scramble early into the first period and Miklus tweaked his knee pretty bad, he injury defaults and limps off the mat. Sad to see, hope its not serious and he recovers!

Mizzou still leads 20-15, Cox and Haught up now.

So you're saying that guys bonusing their way through the NCAA tourney has as much to do with natural ability as anything else? What a crazy thought

PSU very very beatable this year. I feel they will have a hard time getting more than 2 AAs from 125,133,141,165,174,197 HWT. Problem is they probably have 70+ points from the other 3 weights.

I would say they are more likely to get 4 AA's from those weights than they are to get 2. Set over/under at three and I'll take the over. T-shirt bet?

You referring to Tsirtsis, aka Tshirt?

Negative, something totally unrelated to the ASU wrestler.

Say you and I had differing opinions on who would win a match. We would each pick our guy and the loser would have to send (ship) the winner a wrestling shirt (usually a t-shirt) of a team, club, or tournament they are affiliated with or a fan of.

Don't think they are going to have issues at:

125: Kid will learn/Weak weight
133: close matches he could win at the tourney
165: Going to be very solid. Would not be surprised 5-8
197: Weak weight, tough, smart wrestler
HWY: Nobody knows enough

At this point, still think they win it.

- 125 most likely high AA, but we are still dealing with a true freshman here.
-133 Of course he can beat non ranked Devoy from Drexel in a rematch, but from what I saw today he is gonna have trouble with a lot of guys before the round of 12.
-165 is tricky. He is super talented, but something seems a little off with him. Certainly has the talent to place high but I just have a feeling that he isn't doing it this year.
- 197 Undersized plus prone to injury does not make for a good recipe for a deep run even in a weak weight.
- HWY super talented but somewhat undersized. I feel like the top 4 spots at this weight are kinda locked up and can see him on the outside easily.

I'd be surprised if Suriano and Joseph weren't AAs. I think Nevills has a good shot, and Cortez is a coin flip. I'm not really sold on McCutcheon up at 197

125- not lock, but solid chance.
133- I put at 50/50
141- not looking good
165- I would be shocked if he doesn't AA
174- Quite possibly have two guys who could AA here
197- weak weight, mcutch is smart, good coaching, workout partners. I like our chances.
Hwt- Honestly 50/50, wish it were higher, but he does look small...hoping for a good draw here.

Mizzou won the dual, the 2-0 win by Cox sealed the dual win. Walz won at Hwt by Major dec.

Mizzou won like 23-19.

You do realize more than just the top 4 All American's right? Nevills just beat Dejournette from App St by 5-6 points

Yes doucenozzle. Does not change my prediction at all. The same goes for Stoll here. They will have a slim margin for error come NCAAs.

Oh really? When you repeated yourself in the other thread you didn't include HWT in the list not AAing...

Had a default at 184...for the most part, Mizzou took it to them.
Miklus twisted his knee in a scramble in first period and defaulted out. Otherwise, the dual wouldn't have been as close. May be a huge loss for Mizzou though.....

Not even sure what you are talking about. If you need me to repeat it. I think they will have a hard time getting more than 2 AAs from 125,133,141,165,174,197 & HWT. I have made a bet with someone where the line was 3 and I took the under and he took the over.

Every one of these weights CAN AA. Not really sure why you are so butthurt here.

125-3rd-he's a pesky little guy. He'll give guys fits.
133-bad loss today. I guess I always think of HS Cortez. I'd guess non AA as of now.
141-least likely to AA imo. 141 is deep and getting better. Mccrystal beat Meredith today.
49-no need to comment
57-no need to comment
65-he's very good but you can tell he's still adjusting to wrestling bigger guys. I think he'll AA.
74-Rasheed is the better of the two. Morelli is like watching paint dry. Should be low AA.
84-2-4
97-AA. I wish brooks was wrestling here. I think he'd place higher than he would at 84. This weight is very weak outside the top two.
Hwt-he's damn good. I didn't see this coming. I'm guessing he places 4-5.

His #1 seed at Nationals may be in jeopardy!
Jimmy G will not get a high seed at nationals and at best probably a mid to lower seed at B1Gs.

However, when having a laugh at Jimmy's expense keep this in mind. If at last year's Big10 tournament Jimmy had worn the Black singlet and Broody had worn the Blue singlet with the white stripe the Hawks would have won the Big10 championship.
