in the off season??? Who ya got?

My list includes Angels, Mariners, White Sox, and Nats.

I agree on the White Sox. Also, McClendon's job may not be safe since they fired Zduriencik a week ago. Didn't the Angles fire their old GM because ownership is on Scioscia's side? They're 3.5 behind Texas for the #2 wildcard but there is a whole month left. Plus the Angles have no help around Trout (who has been struggling) and Pujols.

I agree with that list.

Perhaps the skippers for the Brewers and Padres should be on that list, too.

If Don Mattingly does not get the Dodgers to the World
Series this year, then he is gone.

Look for Robin Ventura to simply quit and walk away
from the White Sox. He does not enjoy being a MLB
manager.

Mattingly could be on the hot seat a bit in LA.

If they miss the playoffs, guaranteed. Another loss to StL/whomever, maybe.

You can't keep spending $250M a year and get "no rings" production and expect zero heads to roll.

I know the results to date would say you are correct, but do either of those guys get much help from management in constructing their rosters? With the $$$ from TV contract, it's hard to understand why more teams don't make the effort to be competitive. Outside of Colorado, where no good pitcher would ever go, all teams have certain things to offer.
