Honestly, getting fired by Trump would probably be a plus when interviewing for their next job. I would definitely make it very clear if I was in their shoes.

If this plays out, how are Republicans in VA feeling about the upheaval and economic pain of lots of middle class jobs being slashed? They aren't going to be able to find a bunch of FBI ready MAGAs to take these jobs. I assume fired VA or DoE jobs doesn't stir emotions amongst the Fox faithful, but VA is about to take a hit. I believe the governor is term limited, and there will be lot of legislative seats at play. Can trans bigotry overcome economic pain?
And, as I mentioned in another thread, my representative, MMM, won by 1000 votes in November. When do cuts at Ag, the VA, Social Security... all lead to lessened services, and a crimp in her re-election plans?
