They only had to trade 369 prisoners (who killed Israeli soldiers, suicide bombers, etc). Seems like a lot of people to give up for 3 hostages?

Yea I’d like to see how the heck that trade was worked out and which decision makers thought 369 for 3 was a fair deal.

I never called them anything but prisoners as the article stated. Some of them go back 25 years.

Israel/palestinian deals have always been heavily skewed. Gave up 1000 for 1 soldier a few years ago.

But….if any of these prisoners go & take up arms for Hamas then the IDF has free reign to send them to Allah. Something they can’t do in an Israeli prison.
My guess is Israel is hoping Hamas is stupid enough to take up arms again so they can do what really needs done.
