Just like I’m sure you were an alter boy that was raped by a priest, or were you standing there next in line watching while it happened to your friend.
They were a home schooling program. A church and way of life. Everything revolved around the Dad being the center of the universe. And having as many kids as possible. Then raising them in a strict godly way. According to this certain Pastor’s philosophy.
The adults were often second or third generation of the 14 kid program. It was a religious cult that went mainstream. 19 kids and counting as the public face. A bunch of well behaved kids dressed in home made clothing being raised by the older kids.
Those kids didn’t have a choice. They were groomed from as early as 4 months. They’d play something called the blanket game. Kid would have a blanket and it would be taken away then given back for hours on end.
This church also used child labor to construct things on property they owned. Under the guise of a Church Camp. It was all out in public view and had political leaders visiting on the regular. From state, local, and national figures. Then of course the various molestation, cover ups, etc scandals
It had quite a following from other conservative church minded people. Duggars went around the country touting how great their church/lifestyle is. And as I said once they were exposed nothing from all of the fans, followers, and politicians.
Btw, it hasn’t disappeared. Now Jim Duggar runs what is left of it. Not as big as it was. But still pulls in tax free mind you a heavy sum.
Once again, this isn’t any different than what you are wanting schools to do to young kids by telling them they are a girl even though they are a boy. The Democratic Party is pushing this the same way you say the Republican Party is supporting the cult you are talking about. Neither of these situations are acceptable yet you haven’t said anything about the public school grooming being wrong.

These articles blow up stories and act as if it’s going on everywhere. When in reality it’s a small set of well meaning stupid individuals. Every year I see stories about the old South lessons in high school or junior high. Where a teacher has there students label bathrooms or drinking fountains Whites Only. Or the litter boxes in classrooms.
. A big trend happens online. And they call public schools liberal indoctrination centers. When there was a weird conservative Christian indoctrination program running in plain site. And endorsed by influencers (Steve Deace), politicians, etc. And now acts like it didn’t even happen. It had tens of thousands of members and influenced millions at its peak.
it's called deflection. Never mind what we know is going on here, look over there at the church! Which church? Is there an issue with Lutheran pastors? Methodist pastors? Or are we lumping all pastors good and bad with the Catholic priests who are ALMOST universally responsible for things that have happened in the church like this?
Demons hate the light, it's why they HATE these stories coming out. No one is accusing all teachers or all educators of being pedos... but we keep hearing from people how this isn't real, it's fake news, it's anti-alphabet mafia propaganda... but the stories JUST KEEP COMING.

It was on Amazon. My issue was the audience they severed isn’t getting the information. We live in news silos now for better or worse. All of the influencers, politicians, etc that pushed them should have reported on it non stop. Similar to how they reported about a Duggar wedding or new child. Or the values being taught were the godly way. They monetized it and spread evil. Yet, didn’t even bother to take just a bit of an unbiased look at them.
As for all of the articles. The algorithm pushes whatever gets the most engagement. Often making something a far bigger deal than it is.
In the article parents found out and now the school has a hornets nest to deal with. Parents should be engaged. Things will change here and the issue gets resolved. Similar to the Whites only drinking fountains lesson or any other time a teacher/school goes out of line.
Sounds like they are being engaged and trying to put an end to the grooming that schools and democrats are trying to push. Yet you seem to be upset with it. But then again that’s only because it’s popular on social media or the news circuit you follow.
I’m not upset with it. Think they’re bigger priorities for our Congressman to be focused on. They focus on these things that get handled at the local level. While completely ignoring doing their job. Think the biggest Healthcare provider in the country rejecting one in three claims. Our tax code that has created an unplayable debt. Or the fact regardless of party they spend 33% of their time in call centers raising cash. Removing themselves from the voters. All of which get less air time on Fox, CNN, or whatever media engagement site.
Of course there are bigger priorities. But Congress and politicians don’t care about the American people. They care about themselves. So if this is a big topic that helps them get votes, then they are going to focus on this topic and getting votes. They want to keep their cushy jobs with great pay and benefits. They don’t care how it affects the country or anyone else.
And all of that is why I don’t give this issue much of my bandwidth. Think there are bigger things in the news for me to consume. History, financial, sports, etc podcasts.

Well, my boys wanted to read about dinosaurs and if you mentioned anything about girls or body parts they yelled gross, giggled, and looked for their hot wheels. If transgenders are less than 1% of the population, then I'd venture to say that the same percentage is true for kids giving two flying fvcks about the topic. This isn't hard.
Much like most kids yawn when it comes to talking about religion and can’t wait to be done with religion class or church. I would guess that any kid that doesn’t grow up with religion has about a 1% of population chance that they will start following religion. The only ones most likely being transgender are the ones growing up in a transgender house. The only ones most likely being religious are the ones growing up in a religious household. Yet most people on here don’t want one of these two topics in the school system.

This think that because you have gender dysphoric kids -- kids that will go on to become trans -- you have to find them early and make sure they're not ashamed of the way they feel.
That's what is behind something like this. Not them wishing to convert your kids into something predatorily.
I don't know what the appropriate age is to start having these conversations is, but pre-school isn't it for me and many folks. I'll try to give as much grace to your post as I feel comfortable and say that there's at least SOME who believe along these lines and actually have decent intentions. Their heart might be in the right place but the road to hell was paved with good intentions.
