Uhl had a nice defensive game. He shut off a nice drive and forced a pass back out! Looking like a starter.
Jok quick pass to Baer heading to the basket who got fouled!
Jok really hustled in stretches on defense.
Wagner though not many stats, but stayed really active with positive minutes.
Ellingson good confident move to the bucket finished with off hand. Playing confident.
Baer stellar defense.

1-9
playing very well together! Great team effort so far!

Along with Jok, it is important that 6-9 play good and develop confidence as they will be the nucleus of next years team to start with. Others will certainly develop through the non-conference schedule. Competition for playing time will be unbelievable next year.

I really hope we can get Williams in there for meanginful minutes, we need something behind our 2 guards, especially if Fran insists on starting both AC/MG every game.

Makes a lot of sense. I'm sure Fran wants that to happen but it is so hard with the way these games have been going. Maybe Fran can sneak a minute hear or there when there is a stop in play with a minute before a TV timeout.

Yeah I know Nebby was a tad close for comfort for awhile, I was hoping they would of just shut AC down, he really didn't do much anyways. Hopefully vs teams like Rutgers he can get in and get comfortable so he could be called upon down the stretch to help out in case of injuries/fatigue, etc.

Looking ahead, I'm thinking @Rutgers on January 21 might be a good time to get Williams some minutes. After that maybe PSU or MN at home.

I'm anxious to see what Williams can do. He probably hasn't played since the Tenn Tech game tho.

My view of the game was Iowa played with low energy and appeared sluggish throughout. Nebraska played with passion and energy and gave Iowa their best shot. Iowa still won by double-digits. To me, that's encouraging.

I do think it will be interesting to see how minutes and rotations take shape next season. I'm particularly curious about PG (as I'm sure every Hawk fan is) and what the front court will look like.

Getting to the point where we may not lose to Neb in fball or bball for a long long time. Kind of take it for granted.
