Why are they more excited now than in recent years when they’ve won 10 games? They’re not going to win 10 games this year. I thought wins were the only thing that matters. Why doesn’t the team like winning?Always excited about the whole team.
Especially when they've won more games than they will this season
Because they're a development program. They're not in the business to win games. Why are they more excited now than in recent years when they’ve won 10 games? They’re not going to win 10 games this year. I thought wins were the only thing that matters. Why doesn’t the team like winning?

If they want to stay excited.....they better find several damn good football players in the portal for 2025.Iowa always has had a competent DC and STC.
NOW, they have a competent OC. I think that is where the excitement is coming from that Dochterman is talking about. FINALLY, in all 3 aspects (offense, defense, special teams), Iowa has the right person leading the way.
Yep.My mom changed her tater tot casserole once. Still tasted like shit.
This is ridiculous. Just like pizza, there's no such thing as bad tater tot casserole! My mom changed her tater tot casserole once. Still tasted like shit.

The team?
I didn't listen to the clip but from OP's quote it sounds like he's talking about the excitement level of someone close to the program
The school will start sharing revenue next year, up to $ 20 million annually. Obviously, not all of that is going to football, but it will make a big difference as they build teams in the future. SWARM will certainly augment those payments.hopefully SWARM has the funding
"They" sounds like a team not a someone. The team?

And not even top notch chicken shit.Yep.
Like trying to make chicken salad out of chicken shit.
Why do posters on this board devalue winning on a daily basis?"They" sounds like a team not a someone.
Even so, why would this someone close to the program not care about winning? I thought wins were what matters.
Mr PositiveAlways excited about the whole team.

Why do posters on this board devalue winning on a daily basis?
I hope so too, but I think it’s a tough sell, given their initial ROI in football.hopefully SWARM has the funding
What do pizza and sex have in common? This is ridiculous. Just like pizza, there's no such thing as bad tater tot casserole!
This is 100% true IMOBecause they're a development program. They're not in the business to win games.
