Morning Joe

Does anyone watch Morning Joe on MSNBC for Mika Brzezinski? Is she ever in a good mood? I'm not often up early enough to watch it, but whenever I have over the years she always seems grumpy, shrill and anti-fun.

I know, I know, she's just being a liberal right?

See pics like this always throw me. That looks like a fun lady. But I sure have never seen that side of her personality on any show I've seen. In fact the personality on the show would probably scold that lady in the pic for playing into disempowering female stereotypes.

The only thing that could point to her being a good time off the air is that she likes to drink. A drunk Mika probably loses all the uptightness she displays on TV.

Morning Joe has changed quite a bit in the last year or so. They had mostly liberal guests on in the past. Now they seem to lean right a bit more. He is a former GOP representative from Florida, I think.

He really tries to monopolize the conversation. His questions last for two minutes and he constantly interrupts the guests when they answer. Their market share, while never great, has deteriorated even more. Pretty hard to watch.

Joe is a blowhard, Mika is a ditz (but I lke her legs), the others are mostly liberal. Everyone on the show falls into the elitist category. They are more interesting than Foxnews, they have that gong for them. Personally, I typically watch Robin Meade in the morning to get about twenty minutes of news, weather and sports from a group of people that give no indication of where they fall politically. I also get that monetary feeling of hope each day that Robin will finally show some cleavage.

Mika's job is to keep Joe's ego in check and his job is to keep her in line. I think they play off each other pretty well. Atleast there is some semblance of intelligent conversation more oft than not.

I have rarely watched but this matches my assessment. He's a blowhard with no concern for the truth and Mika sometimes calls him on it.

Probably more complicated than that but, as I said, I rarely watch.

I think Yellow is our expert - if you can call being an uncritical slurper at JS's altar "expert."
