Most anticipated day for a Hawkeye fan?

This is as exciting as the men's run to the final four for me. Same excitement and nerves.
Can't get any more exciting than a chance to win the ship, on live tv, with arguably the best player in the world.

I do not believe Iowa has had the good fortune to play for the national title in a major sport in my lifetime.

Yes. In attendance Friday night. I could have barfed from tension in the fourth quarter.
I remember being jacked for the men's elite 8 game in 1987, but this is even bigger. Uncharted territory for me, an Iowa team playing for THE title.

I was there at the game. Hands down the best sporting event I’ve ever experienced as an athlete or spectator. We were essentially playing for a FF in that game. Heartbreaking but was so proud of the players and coaches for leaving it all out there.
Most anticipated day for me would be when the men are in the same position. Or the Hawks play for the National Championship in football. Two events that are unlikely in my lifetime. Winning the Woman's National Championship would be a close third! Go Hawks!!
Yep….one of the few Hawk losses I’ve actually re-watched. Maximum effort….
