maybe not NY6 but it sure as hell will be a more desirable bowl than Iowa is going to this year
I hope no bowl game. I do t want to watch a 6-6 team and have to hear how Ferentz got us to another bowl.
Garbage, crybaby fans. If we go 6-6 I at least we can snap that bowl losing streak and go into next year with SOME positive momentum.The above is just mentally fragile, quitter talk.
It would be a nice change of pace to get into a minor bowl and not have them get throttled for a change.
ISU would win by 10-14 points if neutral field right now, more if at home. Iowa has severely regressed while ISU is playing pretty damn well.
I'm going to be in Kinnick Stadium next weekend for the Minnesota game. It's my "kid" brother's 18th birthday. We're going to f*** up some old people who want us to sit. And we're gonna keep Floyd. We're gonna have fun and not be bitter *****.
Yeah, no. Calling it like it is doesn't make me a crybaby. Iowa will be lucky to make a bowl this year and if they do, it will not be as desirable as where ISU will be bowling. It's a simple fact.
You seem to be under some delusion that Iowa is guaranteed a win in a bowl game at 6-6. Time to push those black and yellow glasses down to the end of your nose and peer out at the real world. Iowa football isn't what you think it is.

I doubt it will come to that. But I'm not sitting at a football game if my alma mater is playing just because someone politely requests that I sit down for a 3rd down when we're on defense.
Go for the opposite. Sit in the student section and demand everyone else sit.
I can't afford to do that. That's the only place in Iowa where I know I can score some weed with no issues.
Never turn down a bowl game for starters although I'm super upset at this lack of performance and hopefully finish 7-5 with the incredibly horrid west division. There is absolutely no evidence that standing all game has any effect over the long haul of a game or increases your level of enjoying the game day experience.
Can't wait for KF to tell us how they are going earlier or later or maybe split the difference to get PREPARED. The team really wants to atone for last year's poor performance and the staff is working diligently to ensure we learn from our past mistakes.
(Insert name of bowl opponent) loads up to stop the run and we have 60 yards of offense in the first half. D plays hard, but on short fields, gives up 13 points. Second half, offense blows up and goes for 6 points and 105 yards, defense collapses, opponent runs away with game.
Post game Kirk talks about failing to execute, needing to play cleaner and how the other team really competed, so credit to them.

I would not ask for a rematch with ISU under any circumstances. Iowa is a dumpster fire and ISU is rolling. ISU has an offense capable of scoring 28+ points. That is 3 games for Iowa.
