Do you suppose $4 mil a year would be enough to get Denzel to replace KF? I bet he could recruit and hire a great staff, and he might not mind playing games west of the mighty Missouri. Besides, Denzel might be ready for a nice little retirement gig in a cool town like Iowa City.

I swear that once or twice he wore an Iowa t-shirt on St Elsewhere, but cannot find on Google any evidence of this.

It would probably help if they sent this to everyone. I am a season ticket holder and did not get this email. Did they send it to people in Iowa City only?

You mean the marketing department messed something up? C'mon...that can't be!

Iowa went 6-1 at home in 2011, including the schools biggest come-from-behind victory in the 31-28 win over Pitt.

Those games were a lot of fun, for those who don't spend the entire game bitching that Kirk sucks.

This, Iowa was 6-0 at home as well, the aways weren't exciting, 3 points at PSU and losing to Minny, but I only watched one loss at home. Hell even 2010 was fun, Iowa was 5-1 before the heartbreak vs Wiscy, and was even 7-2 until the wheels fell off. The MO bowl game was fun, very exciting.
