I wouldn’t be shocked if MSU goes extremely far in the NCAA Tournament... for some reason Izzo gets his boys going and they always seem to make a run. They’re definitely dangerous with some of their wins late in the season are mind boggling but so are some of their losses.. I just see them playing well and advancing.. how far? I don’t know but I am thinking sweet 16 or even better .. let the games be played

No doubt Izzo is going to use the first four play in “snub” to motivate. That said having to win 3 games in 5 days all against quality clubs is very difficult.

I don't think Lizzo--er, Izzo--has EVER had a team that performed so poorly in the second half of their games the way they have this year. It would be interesting, if any of us actually cared about MSU beyond our own personal brackets, to go back and see how many of their losses came in games where they held a double-digit, or even 7-, 8-, or 9-point leads at halftime.

"Typical" Lizzo--er, Izzo--teams could parlay a big halftime lead into having end-of-bench players getting ESPN "highlight" segments. Anybody remember "Shoes" Huffman from their 1979 team?

Making bold predictions is probably not a good idea.

MSU blew that game. Rocket is a bust at PG, the center Bingham(sp?) looks the part but is a bum, Hauser was a bust because he gets torched defensively, and Langford is a shell of the player he used to be. With High Schools studs having other options, this might be the end of Izzo, Calipari, coachK at Duke era of relying on 1 and dones reloading every year.

This was not a good MSU team. Had they not beaten a weakened Michigan just before the BTT, they'd have been left out.

UCLA isn't very good either, but they still won nearly 70% of their conference games. Even as deep as the B1G is, that's still more impressive than Sparty winning 45% of their conference games.

I was hoping for a MSU win as I'm rooting for an undefeated B1G during the 1st weekend. Atleast my office pool counts the first 4 games as either/or so my bracket is still good. I have the winner of last nights game beating BYU. Guess that means I picked UCLA.
