Primary yes, he may have ulterior or secondary motives. He also doesn’t want to be arrested for any criminal behavior. His main goal is Mars, he needs NASA, USAF, and other institutions as allies. He isn’t going to be doing anything short term criminal. That’s not how he thinks or operates. Sure he is petty and vindictive at times. But isn’t senselessly foolish. He is trying to get our budget deficit fixed and America back on the right track financially.
He wants America to persist long term. Our budget deficit was a threat to that outcome. He wouldn’t turn his attention to it if he didn’t think it was a serious problem that needed addressing.
I'd rather thousands of people abuse the disability system in place than a truly disabled person not be able to get the help they need because the system has been gutted.
