I have shared my mantra and feelings with a ton of friends and family (almost all college educated and in 85th percentile or higher) and they feel exact same way. Obviously, we don’t really want it all to burn down, but we feel betrayed by a huge chunk of people we tried to fight for and help and protect and it seems the time for the dildo of consequences is upon them. We are exhausted and are just going to sit in the stands, crack a beer, and watch as they do exactly what they said they would and nation sees how bad things get.

I have my doubts that there will even be much of a Palestine left in 4 years but maybe this will be a wake up call to Democrats that the "we aren't fixing X issue even though we have power but still vote for us because X issue will get worse under Republicans" Is not a great strategy.

Does anyone else find the calculus of those on the far left very strange on this topic? I see two primary issues with the far left logic:

Those that want to oust Biden over this should be very careful…you might just reap what you sow.

The Palestinians in the US who went for Stein are so stupid. With Trump as President the US is unlikely to pressure Bibi to improve the situation in Gaza. I fully expect Israel to raze Gaza and give it to Israeli settlers. But way to go, they sure showed Harris and Biden by voting for Stein.

Then again, the Palestinians could have thrown of the yoke of Hamas and instead chose to live under, and give tacit support to, a terror regime for decades. For whatever reason the Palestinian people cannot seem to get out of their own way.
