Fans want to talk about Jok and the Freshman and they should but in my mind Baer is the heart and soul of this team.So fun to watch him.
When watching it live I thought he bounced it off his head. Went off the shoulder area but I know I still got a great laugh out of it. Can't stand Swanigan and how doppy he and his hair look.
Its amazing how he can get his hands on everything, loose balls, steals, blocks.

Baer blocking Haas at the rim was my favorite. Hell, just about any game, my two or three favorite plays usually come from St. Nicholas.
He would absolutely suck to play against. He's one of those guys, if you relax at all, he will make you pay. Glad he's on our side.
Loved the block on Haas at the rim too. Perfect timing for someone that is about 6 inches shorter.
He's really good at help defense, that's where he gets his blocks and a lot of steals. He's still got to work on containing his man off the dribble. Bigs with ball skills and strength can over power him.
What you can count on is effort... he brings effort and lifts the team and the crowd. Really is the perfect 6th man.
Last year a few times I though he just got lucky, but now I no longer believe that. He's a gamer that just never stops hustling.

I've re-watched this game now 3 times and there are a lot of great plays....too many really to say what's best but this play by Baer along with the corner 3 shot by Jok to follow with the crowd really getting into it was extremely cool to watch ...over and over and over again. I loved when Bardo was calling Baer "Clark Kent' coming out of the phone booth. Could not characterize Baer's play for this team better. He really is amazing at what he is doing out there....especially when you watch his play over and over.
I'd second that. Baer took a shot to the nose on that play as well, but he sent Drago packing for sure!
