[What Would Jesus Do?]

I hope someone is keeping track of what the presidential candidates say their first act or first phone call will be.

Carly Fiorina says her first will be a call to Netanyahu.

Several have promised their first would be to pull out of the Iran deal.

I believe Cruz said his first would be to cancel all of Obama's executive orders. All of them.

A couple have said they would cancel Obamacare (notwithstanding that they couldn't actually do that).

Now Chris Christie says his first will be to call Putin and warn him that we may shoot down Russian planes in Syria.

This is good stuff. And I'm sure I'm forgetting a lot of it.

I'm pretty sure you mean none of the Dem candidates did that last night. Yeah, I didn't hear any such claims, either.

I don't actually object to candidates making such pronouncements IF they say something reasonable. The claims from the GOP, so far, have mostly been idiotic or scarily stupid.

It would have been interesting if they'd asked the same questions using the same undertones to the Democratic Candidates as they did with Republicans. The republican candidates seemed to be placed on the defensive much more than the democratic candidates were.

Admittedly, I watched a little less than half of the debate, but the tone set by the moderators seemed very different.
