Name one government agency that no one would miss if it was gone?

Why not?

Seems like a redundant agency to me. Those states can do that…no need for a federal agency
X number of different standards and funding levels would result. Maybe that seems like progress for some.
Lotta folks want to drop stuff down to the state or local level, but rarely suggest where the funding would come from.
I don’t think you understand how that particular agency has impacted the region it serves, but maybe you do.

Well that's just stupid.

Who will process your paychecks?

Who will administer your benefits?

Who will listen to your grievances and complaints?

Who will recruit you in the first place?

If there were no Dept of Education who's gonna prostitute our children?

"The devastating portion is Jane Doe was forced to sleep with 5 to 10 men a night and make $1,000 a day for Ms. Grigsby and her son while residing with them,” Civil rights attorney Bakari Sellers said.

The attorneys claim their client’s phone which was confiscated by the Harris County Sheriff’s Office includes text messages and Zelle transactions between Jane Doe and over 100 men. They say none of those men have been charged in connection with the case. We reached out to HCSO and they said the investigation is ongoing.

Sellers also accused the district of ignoring warning signs about Grigsby’s behavior long before her arrest. He said his client made several attempts to ask for help while at school, but those cries went unanswered. He highlighted an example when he said the student showed up at school covered in bruises, and a teacher reported it to school administrators but little was done.

"Her reward for going through that trauma was that she was withdrawn from school," Sellers said, describing the emotional toll the situation had on his client.

Sounds like Greg Abbot has a problem in his state

Department of Education

What is the point if every state has their own departments and rules? Cut out the middle man and send the state departments the federal dollars.

This was a South Park Brady bunch parody.
