I hate the Clones, but to deny what a great player Niang is just as stupid as the vast majority of Clones who never acknowledge the abilities of our players.

I am in the same boat. Niang is a very good college basketball player and has been for 4 years. He finds a way to score pretty much every night

He's a very tough cover because of his offensive abilities... but what makes Uthoff so good is his abilities on both ends of the court. Right now the NBA teams are salivating at Uthoff because he can defend.

Agreed. Niang is a special talent. But JU is a better all around player without doubt. I love watching both of them play.

High praise for Jared. Not sure anyone saw this coming before the season began. In fact I would argue Jared has been a different player since the Purdue game.

I think a very good argument can be made that at this point, Uthoff is having a better year than Niang, although both are worthy of national consideration. Uthoff's defense is the difference, IMHO.

But on the other hand: The score is tied with 3 minutes to play, and you can have either Niang or Uthoff on the floor. If you don't put Niang in the game, you're an idiot.
