With NC State's upsets over Texas and Duke today, if UConn women win tomorrow, these two schools will account for half of all of this year's Final Four participants.

Numerous times one program has put both its men and women in the Final Four in the same year. But has there ever been a year where two schools did it??

A 14 loss team should have no business dancing. Wolf pack got hot at just the right time (think they even got the ACC auto bid) They’d beat Purdue and Bama for sure. Doubt they’d beat UConn but who knows.

They won the ACC tournament, they were nowhere near the bubble otherwise

My quick search showed the exhaustive list (going back to '82 when the women's tourney became official) of:

Georgia '83
Duke '99
Oklahoma '02
Texas '03
UConn '04 (both champs), '09, '11, and '14 (both champs) (potential '24)
Michigan St '05
LSU '06
Louisville in '13
Syracuse '16
South Carolina '17
NC State in '24

So, this indeed would be the first year to have 2 schools accomplish the feat.
