Is it really though? It’s amazing we are this far into the pandemic and you still don’t know the basics on how vaccines work.

You've posted the same link that got debunked in the other thread, buddy.Doesn’t say much for the vaccines....2:1 vaxxed/unvaxxed ratio for catching the corona.

COVID-19 vaccine efficacy and effectiveness—the elephant (not) in the room
Approximately 96 COVID-19 vaccines are at various stages of clinical development.1 At present, we have the interim results of four studies published in scientific journals (on the Pfizer–BioNTech BNT162b2 mRNA vaccine,2 the Moderna–US National Institutes of Health [NIH] mRNA-1273 vaccine,3 the...www.thelancet.com
I told my brother, about 2 minutes before their first game, that if MSST the beat Tejas that night, they were my choice to walk away the kings. What a game tonight, MSST in the 9th with the winner. CWS is always good sports theater
Dude is a Bugeater fan.
No. The best choice would have been NCSt getting 14 players to get their vaccines. The best choice would have been to allow NC State to play wearing masks
There are going to be a lot of pissed off NC State fans out there if it does turn out he was in fact always and loudly declaring his political views on COVID and the vaccine. It will be interesting to see if any players turn on him and blame him. It looks like we may be adding “losing the College World Series so you can own the Libs” to the official list.
I’m not sure what the NCAA policies are and I don’t have any sympathy for those who were not vaxxed but certainly seems like they need to have separate rules for vaxxed and non vaxxed athletes who test positive. Also need to have rules about those vaccinated who are technically “exposed” because they shouldn’t be held out.
But like I said, not sure what the NCAA rules are currently.
Nice to see that now, glad the community did that. Let’s see in the weeks ahead what happens. I still think there is going to be major finger pointing as to what happened between the medical staff, coaches, AD and players who thought given the rules, as you pointed out above, a less than 50 percent vaccinated rate for post season play. It’s hard to find official data last I heard the number was they had 16 unvaccinated players and a several of Tier 1 coaches / support staff. That to me sounds intentional and injecting some sort of political cultural statement onto the club to just dismiss the guidance and threat at those levels and it sounds like it was the coach. I think the NCAA would be smart to list out the percent vaccinated of all 8 teams and see if NC State sticks out like sore thumb or all clubs had same number.
Everyone knew the rules regarding the Covid protocol going into it. People made choices. Choices have consequences. Both good and bad. I imagine the "choices have consequences" crowd regarding economic status etc, don't think there should be consequences for not getting the vaccine.Anyone paying attention to this? They had to delay the game today because a significant number of NC State players had to enter Covid protocol. My husband said they only had 13 eligible players. Had the inside track to the National championship game and likely blew that.
I’d be curious to know what happened. We’re the players vaccinated? If not, would it have made a difference? I can’t imagine putting in all that work and it all goes to shit like that.

Small sample size but my boss is NC State grad and fan and is pissed they did not have everyone even close to vaccinated and then, Murphy’s law, as they were heading to a possible natty, the team had an outbreak and it was open season on testing. Also interested to hear if more info comes out Vandy coach playing test everyone card. He will be booed the rest of his career if that is true.
JFC!If I were a fan, I would be livid w/ the selfish players who were unvaccinated.
And I would be pissed that unvaccinated people in the traveling party were allowed to go to Omaha. I am assuming the AD and the manager ok'd that.
NC State was on a roll, they had yet to lose a game at the CWS and were just 3 wins away from a National Championship.
Incredible.
Pissing into the wind IMO. The die has been cast.Wouldn't it have been easier to have your traveling party 100% vaccinated?
10,650 have signed so far.....and the number keeps growing....
Toad ya so.I told my brother, about 2 minutes before their first game, that if MSST the beat Tejas that night, they were my choice to walk away the kings.
