is there a way to create a safe "bubble" like environment? i still think its possible but it probably means the athletes take courses online only and their movement is from home to facility and back to home only. they eat at the facility and avoid going to grocery stores and other public places. They keep delaying the decision which tells me the momentum is to cancel. They know that once they make it official there is no going back so they are going to wait as long as possible to actually start canceling things.

it would require a lot of discipline over 3 1/2 months

85 kids basically fund entire AD departments at the power 5 schools. They probably should be paid.Money money money money money......MONEY

You're probably right. It would require a ton of discipline from all 65 Power 5 teamsThere are too many schools that would have to do this. Somebody is going to screw it up and it doesn't matter how well you build a bubble, some jackasses will find a way to get around it. Kids want to get laid and no bubble will stop them from doing it.

I think its important to remind everyone that it was deemed unsafe to play fall sports and that is why, with the exception of a few conferences in one sport, ALL Div I, Div II and Div III fall sports have been canceled.
What does this say about FBS football that it is the only sport in all of Div I, II and III still trying to move forward?
for better or worse, the B1G listened to the medical experts and the lawyers (future liabilities) and made their decision.
