Gunther has 13 seed Womack then likely 4 seed Jordan if he wins. Walsh the 5 seed at 165. Joseph the 3, Lewis the 6, Valencia the 7.

Yeah but Palacio hasn't been weighing in 157 much and it may be a benefit meeting him Friday morning. Palacio is dangerous though.

Gilman got a really favorable draw, which I guess is to be expected with the 1 seed, but his most challenging matches this year (Lizak, Terao, Suriano) are all on the other side to battle with Dance.
I realize it's supposedly all math, but some of the brackets have a big B1G bias. At 184 B1G wrestlers are 2, 3, 6, and 7. This guarantees we won't have an all B1G final from the top 8 seeds. I'm putting my tinfoil hat on.
Palacio is tough and scrappy but I think Kemdog matches up well with him he is good in those positions..
Do you guys think Seth Gross should really be the 2 seed? Yes, I understand he beat Brock yet does he really have a lot of quality wins outside of that?
I know why Seth "had to go" with all of the poor decisions, and I am happy he's doing well, but it sure would be nice to see him with the Hawks
Nothing stellar I guess but he has beaten McKee who has some good wins and Hall who is a 2x AA. He's 2-0 against Brock so who could you really seed ahead of him?
Got it. I didn't realize he had beaten Brock twice actually. Guess it's just wishful thinking on my end as wish Clark was on the other side of the bracket and likely would be the 1 or 2 at worst without the injury this year.
Clark got jobbed. Deserved 2 or 3 and I don't care he lost to Brock in that bs match in stillwater. Returning finalist deserved better especially when match this weekend was given to Nato bc of a stupid technical violation.
Really when you get to nationals there is really no such thing as a easy match. Some of our guys just have to put the big boy pants on..I really do believe Clark can beat Nato hopefully Sorensen can wake up and use his offense he really put himself in this position. Brooks is healthy and he will make the finals Hawks can have Gillman, Clark, Brooks, Kem in the finals with Sorensen and Meyer going for 3rd not enough but a darn good showing.
Without that call there's still no guarantee he wins. I don't think prior seasons should have much of anything to do with seeds. He earned the 4. It is what it is.
i think it screws tomato more than anyone having the best guy on your side of the bracket.
True story. I guarantee team tomato did not like seeing Clark on their side.
Some years are worse than others but this year is ridiculous. BIG vs BIG all over the place.
Agree with all of that. He does have a loss to the 7 seed also. He's definitely going to have to earn it but I wouldn't be shocked one bit if he wins it.
Look out for Montoya on the bottom side. He'll have gross in the quarters who he's already beaten. Also, Brock will heat McKee early on the bottom side. McKee has gotten better and better as the season went on and him and Brock have a long long history.
