Its time the NCAA hire full time officials.. who can spend the time reviewing film. Although I think most of the officials this year have done pretty decent..I think they would do even better if they could make it a full time profession.

Watching Rutgers - Monmouth on BTN...man #31 Grier for Rutgers is one of the biggest fall down floppers I've seen.. Every single 3 he takes he lands on the floor and then flops down. Would love to see officials be more active...like telling this kid ..."you purposely fall down one more time.....

Wichita State got 2 fall down flopper calls when we played them earlier this year.

Maybe officials can start keeping (and share) who are the biggest floppers are...like a flopper black book.

I completely agree NCAA Division 1 needs professional refs that are part of the big picture, not just hired by a group of closely affiliated conferences such as the Summit League, Big Ten and I'm not looking it up but the third conference involved in our little happy group.

But the chances of centralization happening? Yes, it should, but last I checked Jim Delaney was still against it and one of his points was each conference should have it's own "traditions". I took that to mean that the Big Ten is proud to be a football like game and he has no plans to help that change.
