NCAA Recruit rankings

Meyer coached at Bowling Green, Utah, and tOSU. He has spoken favorably about Nebraska and their once proud traditions so it’s not out of the realm of possibility he could end up in Lincoln. I didn’t say it was likely but you never know. Hell, Day might go to the Bears so the Urb could end up back in Cbus.
LOL. Urban led Utah to a BCS bowl win in year 2, Fla to a natty in year 2 and Ohio St to a natty in year 3. If he came back to coach in college he wouldn't go anywhere that he couldn't take his team to the CFP in year 2-3. That wouldn't be Nebraska. Texas is pretty much the only answer, assuming he would come back for the '23 season, unless there's a shocker, like Dabo or Saban walking away, or a school like Oregon/Washington/ND/Oklahoma deciding to can a new, green head coach before he has a chance to do anything.

Outside of Iowa, the most interesting take-aways from these rankings are...

  • Kentucky is def parlaying their outstanding season; local recruiting grounds don't hurt
  • Missouri ...WTF??
  • Tennessee apparently still leveraging their Peyton Manning glory years
  • Indiana, I guess recruits see their 2021 implosion as a fluke?
A good season usually shows up a year after in recruiting. Indiana’s class was probably mostly committed before this season even started. Same wit ISU.

Their rivals board posters are saying it’s all by design, bypass the high school kids and pull in the best talent via the portal. Their program is in such disarray with Frost leading that Shiat show.
They almost have to. Frost has to win now, and it may still not save his job. He doesn’t have the time to develop players.
