33 at-large bids.
By my count, there are currently at least 50 teams ahead of Iowa in the RPI standings which would not receive automatic bids and - by RPI alone - would be in line for an at-large bid ahead of Iowa.

It’s going to take a very nice run to close the season for Iowa to enter into the tournament discussion. They’ll need a top 4 conference finish and a deep B1G tournament run. Would be helpful if they knocked of one of the B1G’s elite in the tournament. If they get a four seed, IU may be just that opportunity.

Conference finish is not as important as RPI. With that said, Iowa would be top 4 doing what they need to do to get a bid. The RPI is gold to the NCAA for baseball.

The warren Nolan predictions all of a sudden switched to Iowa losing 2/3 to OSU, losing 1/3 to MSU, and getting swept by Maryland.

Iowa may not win every series, but I think they’ll do better than 3-6.

We're still a ways off the bubble and need to play our way in the rest of the way. 12-3 minimum, maybe more. It's possible, but a big ask.
