I was talking about Nebraska. It looks like they have a good quarterback. And we don't....again.
One team looks as if it has improved (way too early reaction going on here) and the other looks like it got worse. It doesn't matter how you try to spin that.
Well then a couple 7-5 type teams will square off on Black Friday. That’s great.
I was talking about how their opponents should be beat in that fashion. I don’t think anything has changed much until they play somebody - a better litmus test.
28-10 against a poor team at home - didn’t score the second half. Sound familiar?
I get the feeling that a lot of Iowa fans are just always miserable. I work with a lot of Iowa transplants who are Iowa fans, and most of them have more fun trying to drag fans of other teams down than they do cheering for their own team. Congrats on being basically the same as Colorado and Missouri fans. Must be great.
I just don’t think they’re that good yet. One’s opinion.
I've seen Nebraska fans and media behave like arrogant asses and and belittling other teams for 45 years.
I think the last 10 have been pretty tame … and humbling. 😬
I'm talking about miserable fans. You can smack talk all you want. That's part of being a fan. Miserable fans, on the other hand, have more interest in the failures of other teams than they do really cheering for their supposed teams. You can find 50 posts a day like that on this board. Must be great.
"Smack talk" is for fat morons living in the past who had nothing to do with anything. I hear your entire stadium did the very thing you are whining about, btw.

I wholeheartedly believe (PUKE) that you guys will be solid. There will be a growing pain game or 2 but 8-10 wins easily obtainable. I think that last game won't mean much for playoff type aspirations but will be a big bowl game pecking order type game. Think both teams will be battling for the 10th win. I guess I can let the other side of the family enjoy a season occasionally.

After watching the past couple of decades I will take progressive improvements year over year and be very happy about it.
Iowa will still beat Nebraska they’re all hype early in the year then they revert back to sucking like they usually do… they might be improved but they have a long way to go… they have yet to beat Iowa or Wisconsin on a yearly basis so I see them sinking to the bottom where they belong and are accustomed to being
In comparison Iowa women was average until C. Clark....Neb. has been below average until this QB who's dad happened to play for Nebraska 25 years ago. And I bet he got a ton of NIL also.

As an 80’s Iowa grad I still have PTSD when it comes to Nebraska football and the ass kicking relentless beat downs we received. Couple that with my obnoxious nephew who went there in the height of them sucking 12 years ago but still chirping; I can’t not hate Nebraska and root for them to suck. However, my willingness to go after posters here is muted by hate fatigue and just hope the match up game is competitive because right now my fear is Iowa offense is very suspect and KF is keeping his thumb on Lester which is far more concerning than this one game.
