I know probably no one cares but I just saw this. Keeping his name in the draft. This will definitely hurt the cornholers. He was a very good player.
Ya! The train passed you by.Unless I am missing something, they are going to be awful next year.

Really, low-level robots coached by a control freak as opposed to competitors.I wish the Hawks had a couple of guys like Roby to be honest...instead of guys with no heart like Moss....I got sick of watching him loaf up and down the court...never bothering to exert any effort to play defense or create a shot for anyone else. He hit a couple of threes every new moon to justify why he was even on the court...but horrible overall.
Back to Nebby, after all the smoke (blown up all the transfers butts by the Mayor) clears, I think we'll see Nebby as usual...just like under Miles they will have some success, especially at home when all the brain-dead cult pack in. But they won't go far...too many transfer egos competing for themselves.
I’m just glad we can shamelessly attack the attitude and effort of players, who clearly give their best and have literally zero incentive to “loaf up and down the court,” (especially Moss who is trying to prove himself worthy of the NBA) without any repercussions.I wish the Hawks had a couple of guys like Roby to be honest...instead of guys with no heart like Moss....I got sick of watching him loaf up and down the court...never bothering to exert any effort to play defense or create a shot for anyone else. If only we had players who didn’t quit and come back from a double digit deficit against Northwestern, hit a game winner against Rutgers, or come back from down 20 (to ultimately lose) against Tennessee.
To me it says that Iowa played poorly against a couple of bad teams, but grinded out wins anyways, during a rough stretch of the season. Not sure either game would be considered program defining, any more than the wins over Michigan or Cincinnati in the NCAARead that again and let it sink in.
It says more than anyone would really care to admit about the reality of Iowa Basketball.

What does it say to you?
Bohannon’s shot wasn’t even a circus shot. It was a three off the dribble and definitely a shot he’s more than capable of making. So that’s 1 circus shot, not a “few.” Iowa also lost at the buzzer to Maryland on a favorable bounce off the rim to Fernando, a game which could have boosted their tournament resume further.“Rough stretch...”. Sure...
It says to me that minus a few circus shots against poor teams, Iowa goes from ten seed to no seed.
When a close comeback loss against a team that didn’t even make the elite eight is your claim to fame for the season, it says a lot. What was our best road win? An IU team that didn’t make the tourney? Seriously. Tell me.
The reality is that this program is a long, long way away from any kind of national relevance and it’s been that way for a long, long time.
20 years since last sweet sixteen appearance; 40 years since last conference title... those are pretty program defining.
