I'd be highly opposed to Brown coming back. There are plenty of G4 WR that have a chip on their shoulder looking to move up to the big leagues. Go find them instead.

I'm sure he'll have a lot of suitors if he enters the portal. Definitely would be a good pick up.

I'd recommend learning from the Indiana school of transfer-portal usage. Bank on guys who have proven production ... even if it may be in a lesser conference (or lower division). Skilled guys with a chip on their shoulder are more likely to produce than an entitled kid who is chasing a bag of money and who is searching for a path of least resistance to playing time.

Malachi Coleman, a former 4-star prospect from Lincoln, plans to enter the portal and would have three years of eligibility remaining. The Hawks offered him out of high school. Perhaps he could be the "player to be named later" in exchange for Oliver Martin.

Coleman is an athletic freak but sounds like has some problems between the ears.

I think that he just doesn't care as much about football as most legit D1 coaches would prefer. It happens.
