I did watch it, they were still hyped. Starting in top 20 and predicted to win the west. That's hyped for iowa.

Hype = winning the joke that is the big ten west. Take out Wisconsin and the big ten west is the MAC of Missouri Valley.

Northwestern and Iowa have both lost to Missouri valley teams this year at home.

Maybe fans shouldn't fall for the "hype" so easily. Yes we started 12-0 last season but what about the seasons before that? Media types just like to jump on the bandwagon. One good year doesn't mean you've made it. Some seem to think that but it's just not the case. Last year things fell into place. That's the exception and not the rule. Kirk didn't figured everything out last year like a light bulb came on.

We just don't have the revolving amount of talent to deserve much of any hype any year.
