New 2019 offers rolling out.

kid is a player for sure just seems a bit short for OLB in college. supposedly bringing teammates on his spring visit! lets open up that Country Grammar pipeline ya heard me.

That QB can flick it. Love Barnharts nastyness (and last name ;) )I wonder where they are thinking Dearman, looks like a heck of a safety to me. Good work Harb.
I really like all around athlete Dearman. really flies to the ball with decent spead and shows great toughness. Sounds like an Iowa Safety prospect to me as well.
Taisun is a highly serviceable backup to our priority qb target Duggan should he spurn the Hawks next year for another program. Like his tape.

Wow Dearman gets around the field pretty quickly. Appears to have excellent instincts and looks like he hits like a truck. Can't believe he is only listed at 185 lbs, looks like he is over 200 lbs for sure.

Chevin said the same thing lol but yes it's encouraging indeed after 2 years ago
Granted chevin did commit
Looks like JJ in that pic
Wonder if Chevin is as happy with his decision now that BB and Co. are already out the door.

Yea, I admit im still so hung up on the recruiting drama from the 17 class I can barely sleep at night. I honestly dont know how the program has been able to continue.

But to your point, I think Chevin could end up better off now. Bielema was ousted for a good reason. If the new Coaching staff can get things on track it may improve his time with the Hawgs.

Did a comparison on 247Sports top 247 prospects. Iowa has 14 that have us listed in their top 5, with 3 of them committed.
Other notables: Neb has 10 on the list, ISU has 7, MN has 6.
I didn't count other schools, but I did notice some interesting facts: Purdue & Wisconsin each had 1 commit, but did not see them anywhere else; Indiana seemed to have more prospects interested than Iowa.
I know it is early, but how are these up and coming programs (Neb, ISU, MN & Purdue) getting out recruited by Iowa???

How did you determine which are in a recruit's top 5? The five schools that are written out are not a listing of their top 5 about 95% of the time

Obviously, we are in the top 5 of 3 of the players. So why do they list 5 schools. You must have a conspiracy theory or some butt hurt.

Yeah just because there are 5 listed doesn’t mean they are top. Nobody is going to go and ask all of those kids who their top 5 is. It changes every day with new offers with these kids. Especially since it’s over a year away until their signing day in the 19 class

No conspiracy theory or butt hurt here. They list by warmest interest (warmer, warm, cool, and none I believe). Only some of the writers update those, so they are hardly reliable, especially a year away from signing day. Look at Duggan’s. There are 7 teams listed as warm, but there are only 5 slots and they list them in alphabetical order. If nobody has edited the interest tab, they just fill those five slots with the first 5 teams that have offered in alphabetical order. It is hardly ever a true top 5 essentially

The point of the post is that we are doing better than "hated" ISU-Neb-MN. You could also say we are 100 miles ahead in unidentified unknowns. You can interpret any way you want.
