Iowa now has like 65 offers out, 2nd least to NW who has like 50. Everyone else is over 110 for '19 with Mich. #1 @204
Did a comparison on 247Sports top 247 prospects. Iowa has 14 that have us listed in their top 5, with 3 of them committed.
Other notables: Neb has 10 on the list, ISU has 7, MN has 6.
I didn't count other schools, but I did notice some interesting facts: Purdue & Wisconsin each had 1 commit, but did not see them anywhere else; Indiana seemed to have more prospects interested than Iowa.
I know it is early, but how are these up and coming programs (Neb, ISU, MN & Purdue) getting out recruited by Iowa???
The Instate ILB looks like he should be a four star player by year end, as does the safety prospect who just received the Ohio State offer.Bucky rarely gets top100 kids but he is off to a good start: 9 verbals from solid players which puts them at this early point (according to the source you mention) as 1st in the B1G, 9th nationally. I am sure a number of conference teams will pull ahead in the ratings before this time next year, but it has never been about stars or helmet decals in Madison.
.Could bring some added toughness to the squad. Them dudes from Flint dont play.
Ha! Nicely done..
..
Those flint guys are tough. There must be something in the water up there.
Samson Evans, Noah Shannon, Tyrone Tracy, Jeff Jenkins, Julius Brents, John Waggoner, Dallas CraddiethI wonder how many of the guy Iowa signed were on the offer list last year at this time?
7 of 22, seems like early offers may not be that big of a deal
