New facility is bigger than originally planned

Whoa Mr.. Can we even say Indian anymore? Better check with compliance department on that.
You poor snowflake. It must be tough living in the 21st century with a 19th century world view.

To be fair, women never had the athletic opportunities that men did before being mandated. (And it apparently wasn’t going to happen otherwise.)
To be fair that’s not the point or what I said. Have two daughters, one of which has a PHD and is an equal opportunity investigator for a major university so go lecture someone else.

No. Do you have any links?
I don;t. shouldnt be hard to find she writes for the gazette and posted a lot of one sided articles about the racism issues inside the iowa football program. Search her name on twitter Im sure shes posted them there

So, what did you think about the reporters covering PSU and Sandusky situation back in the day? (Thanks, but I don’t Twitter.)

You said mens wrestling programs were cut because of Title IX. That opened the door to my observation, whether you like it or not.

Btw, congrats on marrying an intelligent woman.

you have no idea or way of knowing what I like. I stated an indisputable fact as a response to someone‘s post. you responded with your, as always “liberal” opinion in contradiction to my response. when you don’t like a fact counter with something unrelated. BTW title IX is not just about college athletics. that’s just a small part.

So, applauding equality for men and women sporting opportunities at public universities is a liberal thing?

I’m still guessing you married an intelligent woman.

If they order the switchboard and other power distribution gear needed right now, they might have it by the time the facility is built.
Aaahhh...you make a valid point. We are seeing jobs being delayed for MONTHS now for basics, such as structural steel. Kind of hard to get a multi-story building going without steel.

the liberal thing was you feeling it was necessary to point it out in the first place. My statement was a factual result not a condemnation. I could say that you would have a hard time finding an intelligent woman but I don’t know you and or your wife so I won’t…you go right ahead with your assertions though.

met my wife there…Pete’s pizza and Wrong Daddy’s.
I've eaten at Pete's many times. Good pizza and sandwiches. I've never been to Wrong Daddy's. Sounds like a Simpson college type bar lol. I moved away in 2012 so I'm sure I've missed several new establishments there since then.

I aways liked One Stop, Winn's, La Casa and Crouse Cafe. I miss those places

It was a Simpson bar. probably before your time. my wife graduated from Simpson. One of my friends, played fast pitch softball with him, was one of the wrestling coaches at the high school.

I suggest you hit ignore as I have done. LW has diarrhea of the mouth when it comes to spewing liberal blather. Nothing useful comes of reading it

Lol, I was just being sarcastic to the "woke" world. I will say Indian until the day I die. I grew up in Indianola, Iowa. Home of the the Indians!

Several American Indians I know are fine with Indian or Native American. Not so fine with indigenous, and not happy with Redskin. How are things in indigenousiola? ;)

Umm this would make you the Snowflake dub, and remember many with my point of view have you on ignore for your banter.
I anticipated some half wit comment by my boy, but chose not to open it.

Question

In the past year since I've ignored my boy, has he suggested that wrestling matches should eliminate scoring and recording thereof in favor of sensors determining the mood of the wrestler? Best mood wins. And, as a bonus, a debriefing of each to make sure they each felt "safe" for the entirety of the match?

Thanks in advance

I honestly just don’t want to get into it. With all the BS going on right now, I want to just focus on our team here. I will say Dub and my political views are Not inline.

Dang… I’m pretty sure I won’t be getting invited to any more “Klan,” functions, now…

Geesh, apparently politics is a more powerful disintegrator than wrestling is a unifier. None of us are as clever and discerning as we think we are. This is why we can’t have nice things.

What? The truth will set you free, and we've got plenty of those Perpetual Victim Class members to enlighten us on exactly what the truth is. They's edeecated ya know. LOL!

I grew up just down the road from Lake Okoboji, and I just found out from one of these deep thinking geniuses recently that the area is full of poor rednecks. Wow, all those years and I didn't know, man did I feel silly getting THAT news. LOL! Fing idiots.

Well, we have perpetual victims, perpetual victim deniers/creators, and perpetual flip-floppers based on what suits them that day. Looking forward to eliminating all through perpetual education and constructive dialogue/change, but not holding my breath.

And really hoping we can perpetuate our NCAA title run.

Good luck with that.

But I’m down like Ch-ch-Charlie Brown for the next Hawk title run.

As for the earth moving work, I’ll contact my brother and see if he will do it pro bono or at discount rate.
