I always preferred the chicken parm sandwich from ricobene's

My understanding is that the reason Adam Dunn put up some of the worst hitting seasons in MLB history while on the Sox was that he would stop there for a breaded steak sandwich before every game

There used to be a place in San Antonio and the guy was from New Haven and he was a veteran of the New Haven pizza wars. It was called Napoli's I think it closed he might have died and the kids were running it for a while but I think it finally went out of business. Anyhow I used to eat the pizza there a lot and he was definitely from New Haven had the pictures on the wall to prove it. That pizza was saltier and tangy , I used to live in upstate New York and it was kind of like New York Pizza. The closest thing I had to Chicago pizza was at Lino's in Rockford Illinois. Definitely tasting different more sweet maybe instead of salty. More Midwestern.
